Happy New Year and welcome back! 2019 promises to be an exciting year for AUSD students! We are incredibly proud of our schools and their continued commitment to academic growth, increased student achievement, and exceptional extracurricular offerings. We greet the second half of our academic year eager to build on the many gains we made in the fall and with a resolve to continue our reputation for excellence in education. 

 

As we resume the work of ensuring that each of our students is college and career ready we encourage you to visit the district website (azusa.org) and your child’s school website for the latest resources, news, and announcements. We place a high value on showcasing the successes and academic progress of our students. Follow us on Facebook to join in the celebration and see recent pictures and video highlighting the talents and accomplishments of our students and schools.

 

As we continue our academic journey in this new year, we renew our commitment to consistent, transparent communication with our school community. Working together, we can ensure the success, health, and safety of each of our children. Parents who have questions or concerns during the year are encouraged to contact their child’s school or the district office.

¡Feliz Año Nuevo y Bienvenidos! ¡El 2019 promete ser un año interesante para los estudiantes del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Azusa! Estamos sumamente orgullosos de nuestras escuelas y su compromiso continuo al crecimiento académico, el rendimiento estudiantil y las ofertas extracurriculares excepcionales. Recibimos la segunda mitad de nuestro año académico ansiosos de desarrollar los logros que obtuvimos en el otoño y con la determinación de continuar nuestra reputación de excelencia en la educación.

Al renaudar nuestras actividades queremos asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes estén preparados para la universidad. Los invitamos a visitar el sitio web del distrito (azusa.org) y el sitio web de la escuela de su hijo(a) para obtener los últimos recursos, noticias y anuncios. Valoramos altamente los éxitos y el progreso académico de nuestros estudiantes. Linda Kaminski

Dr. Kaminski earned her Bachelor Degree at Santa Clara University, Master of Science at Pepperdine University, and Master of Education and Doctor of Education at Harvard University.

In 2017, she was named by the Los Angeles County Office of Education as the county’s first “Superintendent of the Year.”
